The brand name "Perpanep" comes from a combination of the word "pen" and "paper" in Japanese. The goal of this brand is to provide the best writing experiences by combining the right paper with the right writing instrument. The series comes with notebooks with 3 kinds of original paper (Sarasara- Smooth, Tsurutsuru-Ultra Smooth, and Zarazara-Textured) paired with 3 types of pens (Ballpoint pens, Pin pens and Fountain pens). Since the notebook opens flat completely, there's no gap in the center and is very convenient for drawing large graphs up to A4 size.

The Sarasara (Smooth) paper is designed with the right amount of smoothness and texture.
