Loyalty Program
Our loyalty program is a points based rewards system designed to give back to our customers. It is completely free and complementary. Points are earned automatically on every order, but an account with us is needed to redeem points for rewards.
- Each dollar spent for an order earns 5 points (after discounts, before shipping and taxes).
- Creating an online account earns 100 points.
- Birthday gift of 200 points on your birthday (if provided).
- Special bonus earning opportunities.
- 500 points: $5 discount coupon code
- 1000 points: $11 discount coupon code
- 2000 points: $23 discount coupon code
- 4000 points: $50 discount coupon code
An account is not needed to earn points, and reward points are automatically earned for every order. However, to spend your reward points, you must have a Desk Gems account created using the same email as your orders. All points from past and future orders will be automatically be credited to your account.
Providing your birthday is optional and will only be used for the annual birthday gift points bonus. We will not check if this is really your birthday. The birthday must be provided at least 30 days in advance for the reward to post automatically.
Yes, when our loyalty program goes live, a one time adjustment will be made for all customers with past orders. All past orders will be credited and the account creation bonus added if an account was created. If there are any questions, please contact us at rewards@desk-gems.com.
Referral Program
If you enjoy shopping at Desk Gems, we will reward you for telling your friends! Through our referral program, you can obtain a unique referral link or send referral emails that rewards both you and your friend when they make their first purchase.
When you make a referral to a friend, your friend will receive a 12% discount code. If your friend then makes a purchase, you will be rewarded with a $5 discount coupon.
Only new customers can receive referrals. Customers that have made an order, created an account, or are already subscribed can not receive a referral.
You can find your referral options in the rewards panel. To refer a friend, you can either send your unique referral link, or use the referral email utility to send a referral email. Through this link, your friend must claim your referral gift by entering their email and verifying that they are a new customer. If your friend then makes a purchase, you will receive your referral reward. Note that your friend does not need to make an account or even use the friend reward that they redeemed in order to complete the referral. They just need to redeem your referral gift and then make a purchase!
You do not need an account to make referrals, but having an account allows you to easily find your referral link in the rewards panel. If you do not have an account, you will see your referral options on the order conformation page when you place an order.
Our loyalty and referral programs are powered by smile.io. The referral links begin with http://i.refs.cc/ so that they track properly and you receive credit for your referral.
